Please can somebody advise me regarding charging my tomtom one N/Ed which I have just recently bought. Is it safe to charge the TT1 in the car using the supplied car charger? I've read a few posts on web sites where there have been problems and it's made me feel a bit uneasy. In a number of cases it seams to be a design fault with the car charger and supplying the wrong voltage.
Also charging via the usb cable to the computer, how do you know when it is fully charged (apart from turning the TT1 on to view the battery indicator).
Would appreciate any help. Thanks |

Thanks for your help Richard.
Just another question - should I always use the car charger for the power supply when I am using the TT1 in the car ?

The battery's only good for 2-3 hrs so easiest to leave it plugged in. |
