sendin back rikaline reciever

just been i contact with the company i got it of because i got nothing when i conected up to ipaq.
they said send it back and we will test it,if the reciever is ok it must be your com port that is faulty,is this true.
my ipaq is a 3630..
also does the 3630 suffer from battery probs.

If the main battery in your 3630 has never been changed, it may be reaching the point now where it has had it.

Pocket PC Techs sell DIY replacement kits - in the UK you can get them from Expansys.

However, before parting with your money, it may be worth checking the cost against the cost of a newer machine, which not only will have a new batter but will be of significantly higher specification. Be aware, though, that expansion packs are only compatible with 3000 and 5000 series iPAQs, also that 31xx, 36xx and 37xx iPAQs have a different synchronisation / charging port to all later models.
