I am very new to Sat Nav systems, I have downloaded the speed cams data base to a laptop no problem, I have uploaded the database to the Garmin, the POI folder has updated ok, I have done this with each type of database recomended but the speed cams do not display when travelling past, is there something I am not doing?? Should the speed cams alert when travelling, another problem I seem to have is I have built routes on the mapsource software and uploaded these to the sat nav the waypoints display in favourites but I can not find the uploaded routes should I be able to find these? Thanks for any help.

Firstly, you need to upload all the files in one go - each upload via POI Loader deletes all previously uploaded files - so put all the files you want in a single directory and then upload them all in one go (note this can take some time, so be patient).
If you simply uploaded the CSV files, then you will only see the cameras (and alerts) if you go over the speed limit. If you want the cameras to appear on the screen all the time you need to use a utility to convert the speed camera files first.
As for the routes, the Nuvi does not currently support the Mapsource route upload function - it does accept waypoints from Mapsource, and may even accepts the various waypoints that make up the Mapsource route, but the route itself will not be available on the Nuvi. Whether or not this feature will made available in the future is not yet known (ie Garmin may never provide it).
