Hi,
After trying WM5 for about 1 week on my iPaq4700, I've gone back to Wm2003 and re-installed everything.
I had trouble getting TomTom 5 re-installed, and I need some advice on how to install it back onto the SD card again.
There are some directories that I have to create to make it work if I remember? One called ZIP, one called TOMTOM etc.
Is there any instructions anywhere on how to do it?
Thanks

Did you buy TT with the CDs? In which case just re-install from them and it will all be done automatically. If it just came on its own SD card I do not understand why you need to re-install it on the CD card - the fact that you changed OS should make no difference to the SD card.
Or am I missing something? _________________ Peter

Hi,
Mine came on CD. I inslalled it into ram, with maps on the SD card, but I nned the memory on my iPaq, and them moved the required files onto the SD card as well.
Now when I tied to install straight to the SD card, the program was in RAM not on the SD card.
Any Ideas (5.21 version) |

A CD or several CD's. Are they genuine TT CDs? _________________ Peter

When I upgraded to 5.21 I had difficulty installing direct to the SD card. Just intall to the default location (ie PDA memory) then, using Active Sync, locate the Navigator folder and drag and drop it to the SD card. You will need to play around to get the short cuts to work with the new location, but I presume you have done that before. It seems to work just as well from the SD card as from PDA memory
