Hi
Need to know above before I order. I can only see the M500 and the M1000 on the list and I don't want to buy it if it isn't compatible. I wondered if M2000 is not listed cos its too new (although it isn't that new)
Thanks Liz |

It's not that new any more... and yes, it works with TTN.
There were some issues with the keyboard (only the built in would be usable) but those should be fixed by now. _________________ Lutz

Liz, I use one of these devices (its badged as an XDAIIs - but it is identical appart from the colour and ROM load), the keyboard issue only affects TomTom vs5,0 - so long as you load up vs 5,1 or the latest 5,2 it will work fine with an on screen keyboard displayed. With vs 5,0 you had no option but to use the inbuilt keyboard which in a car holder was not practical, decent bit of kit but it does take time to get used to - Mike |

Liz,
I am using one at the moment also. If you download V5.2.1 this will allow you to use the bluetooth phone function without losing the map when a phone call comes in. All you lose is the sound as it is in use by the phone call. I do believe older versions of the software dropped the program when a call came in.

For reference, they are hardware-wise identical but there are some software differences between the HTC variants which, in the case of the M2000, can cause problems if you use com1 for GPS data. It relates to something in the additional software put on top by Orange and discussed here.
