Is it possible to use mp3 files as POI alerts. If so how do i do it? |

Not in TTN. I don't know whether CheckPOInt can handle MP3, but probably only .wav files. _________________ Richard

checkPOInt does not handle mp3, however there are lots of programs that will convert mp3 to wav _________________ Steve I |

You can't use mp3 but you can convert the mp3 files you want to use to the OGG file format, then using POIExtend a utility for loading specific files into the required TomTom format is possible, its a bit of messing around - it all depends how much you want the specific sounds you have as mp3 at the moment, for file conversion and the POIExtend utility try Rays site www.tomtomsatnav.info - this has some tips on how to do this and audio file conversion programs to run on the PC - Mike |
