Hi all,
Having recieved a x51v for Christmas I brought a bluetooth tomtom N5 box set. The GPS device connects sucessfully via bluetooth, but i can not get the software to install - the instructions just say launch the application. I tried that and nothing happens. Others have reported getting N5 to work! Any ideas would be very gratefully recieved!
Thanks,
CJ |

Mike,
Thanks for this, I am working through the tips, but it appears like they all refere to installing the software from CD's, mine came only on the SD card.

Using the PDA is there a TomTom logo on the front screen of the device, if there is the application should be installed correctly, if not go to file explorer/ SD Card locate the folder 2577 and then tap each of the files within this folder, this will install TomTom from the card onto the PDA, an alternative is to go to tomtom.com and download the latest version for TTN5,21 which is free, then via active sync 4,x it will load onto you machine (previous versions of the TT software would not work with WM2005 devices) - Mike |
