I have the speed cameras installed on the latest version of TT5.
In addition, what I would like is something compatible with TT5 that will alert me when my speed exceeds nn mph. Presumably this is possible, since my GPS knows how fast I am going. It would need to either integrate with TT, or be capable of running at the same time.
Does anyone know whether such a thing exists?
Thanks in advance. _________________ HP rx5935, 2GB SD Card, TTN 6.1, GPSDash |

The only thing I know of is the capacity for TTN to revert to a Navigation rather than a map display when a prescribed speed limit is exceeded. See disp[al/hide map, you then get three options, one of which allows a display change over aspeed you set.
This is how I do it and my display changes above 73 mph.
a sound alert would be useful I suppose... _________________ XDA Orbit (the best so far)

Good idea - I'll do that. Perhaps someone will come up with a visual/audible warning add-in for Tomtom.
As I last resort, I suppose I could use that dial with the pointy needle in my dashboard................... _________________ HP rx5935, 2GB SD Card, TTN 6.1, GPSDash |

Hi
A good program for speed limiting is Speed Sentry it is not expensive ($11.25) and has many other great uses like logging distances etc for claiming mileage from work etc. To go with this you would need GPSGate ($9.95). This allows the use of two (or more if required but more expensive) programmes to use 1 GPS device.
I use both and find them great
for Speed Sentry :

for GPSGate:
