|
|
I recently had a chance to try a few units in an out of town box store
including a TomTom 700 and Garmin C330 which let me see the local map
quality for my area (eastern Ontario).
The Tomtom couldn't locate my street but the Garmin was spot on.
Would this mean that my street would likely be missing from all the
Teleatlas sourced products (eliminating the Navman units) or is it
likely to be a Tomtom only issue?
Thanks, |

That's what I was afraid of, it effectively eliminates the Tomtom/Navman units from my shopping list then. At least it didn't cost me anything to find out.
Not that I need a nav unit to find my own house but it does lower the confidence level somewhat (especially of the spousal unit).
So it's pony up the money for Garmin or buy a Pin/168 and add Copilot.. |
