Hi i am new to the forum
I was just wondering, if i subscribed, and put the database on my 2011 qashqai, would it just display the longitude and lat warning? Or the correct symbol?
Also would i be able to load it onto my tom tom app on the iphone?
Thanks Andy |

Andy, Welcome to the forum, does the car system you have support Custom POI files and if so does it mention anything about warnings relative to POI locations?
You can add the database to the TomTom iPhone app see Here but that is using a hack to add functionality that isn't advertised as a true feature by TomTom (but it works, and has done for about 12 months now), another option is for you to use the CamerAlert app for the iPhone, with this running in the background you get the camera warnings irespective of the navigation app thats running on screen - Mike |

There are a few posts here about the Nissan Connect system, too many to detail. Use the search facility and type 'Nissan Connect' into the top search box and check the 'Search for all terms' button. This will list quite a few topics on the Nissan system for you to browse for an answe. I don't have one, so cannot help you directly, but someone who has might pop up in a while and tell you the short answer |

Nissan Connect does not have any icons or custom sounds. It is, though, one of the rare built-in satnav's that can take custom POIs.
There is nothing we can do with the Connect system unles Nissan add that functionailty (which I highly doubt) but our database will work with the system they offer. It is also widely regarded as the most up to date and accurate database available.
A friend of mine has a Juke with the Connect system and I was asking how he got on with the warning beep and lack of icons and he said, "You just get used to it, you hear the beep and you know it's a camera warning. A quick glance at the screen confirms the type (fixed, mobile etc)"
