Hi all
Can anyone confirm the delivery date of Tomtom navigator 3 with Bluetooth, seem to keep getting conflicting reports from various suppliers.
Cheers in advance

Hi Richard,
Are you talking about the upgrade from TTNav2 or the full version?
There are a number of people on this forum who have already got TTNav3 (full version), as I saw TTNav3 demonstrated at the PGW pub meet on Sunday 28th March 2004. I’m sure that some have got the TT BT receiver with it too. However, I don’t know which retailers have TTNav3 BT currently in stock.
The upgrade from TTNav2 should be available from mid April 2004.

Hi Privateer
Bought a shiny new HP 4150 and 256mb storage card couple of weeks ago and have been waiting not so patiently to buy the boxed Bluetooth Nav 3 Tomtom kit. Lot of the sites show it for sale but I've spoken to a few and they are still waiting for delivery.
Does anyone know if it's available now or shall I just pre order.
Thanks again.

Hi Richard,
You’re right, I’ve had a quick look around the usual suspects and those websites that state the stock numbers all seem to be out of TTNav3. I know that people already have TTNav3, I guess they were either lucky or pre-ordered and got sent a copy as soon as the stock came in.
TTNav3 must be available now, but all of the stock has been snapped up. I would suggest that your best bet is to ring around and if any retailer has stock coming in the next few days then pre-order it then and there.
I remember a similar thing happened when I wanted to buy a copy of TTNav2 in May 2003. In this case the software was available, but the cigar lighter power adaptor for iPAQ 38xx and 39xx (also 22xx and 55xx) models wasn’t available and the batches were snapped up several times before I managed to get one.
Hi Trevor,
For €49.00 we get the upgrade from TTNav2 to TTNav3. That should be the same package as buying TTNav3. Therefore we should get new software, new (updated ) UK maps and the major routes in Europe. However, until the TTNav3 upgrade is released we won’t be able to confirm it.
