If you're willing to try, it may be time for a hard reset? This will return it to out of the box state. You will lose any data on the device.
This must not be performed whilst the device is connected and or charging.- Press and hold both soft keys
- Using a stylus, press and hold the soft reset button at the bottom of the phone
- Keep all three buttons pressed until the keypad lights turn off and then flash
- Release the soft reset button while still pressing the soft keys
- Let go of the two soft keys once the message "This operation will delete all your personal data, to manufacturer default" appears on screen
- Finally press the green call button to perform the hard reset or press other key to cancel

One possible other thing to try is removal of the battery for a while then put it back in and power up the device, if this doesn't cure it there is little option than trying the hard reset.
If you do end up hard resetting the device the first thing you should try is installing the software that caused it to go wrong, if it fails again then you loose nothing. There are some pictures on Here that show battery removal - Mike |
