im thinking of geting a 4gb sd card as ive seen them for less than £20, but will it work?
any one using a 4gb sd card in there tomtoms? |

ok, why wont a 4gb work? i want to use the maps from my 910 and they are nearly 2.5 gb for europe and america together, thats why i want a 4gb card. |

might aswell slap a 8 gig in there,not much price difference in them now a days.( 4 gig and 8 gig) |

im only considering a 4gb because they are down to less than £20, so cannot go wrong for that price. |

It's possible 2 GB is the largest it will take. For example, many digital cameras only accept a max of 2 GB due to the FAT16 file system inability to address larger than 2 GB volumes.
However, since the TomTom is based on Linux then maybe this would work. |
