|
|
Just prior to Christmas I purchased & downloaded the new European maps believing that the Canary Islands were included, but seems that they are not. Is it true that they are on the DVD & SD evrsion of the said map, and if so why are they not included in the downloaded version. Without shelling out ALL of the money again, how can I get them as I am off to Fuerteventura in May? Are Tomtom listening??
Many thanks

TomTom HAVE offered the Canary Islands maps to customers who downloaded the new map. They say that it will be available in February, but I do not know how they will alert people, or if (more likely) they will keep quiet and only send it to people who have complained!
Here is a yourNav forum post about it, including the relevant e-mail from TomTom support:
Canary Islands Map for download
With luck you should be OK for a trip in May. |

Thanks for that Andy. I will e-mail them and ask to be added to the list - just in case! Was anything else missing from the download that was on the SD card or DVD??

I only installed Home because I couldn't get the map any other way. I wasn't intending running it again anytime soon! |

Has anyone received this map yet? I must write and ask them about it as it has not appeared in my updates.
