is it activesync 3.7 or 3.8
you should be asked if you want to creat standard or guest partnership
standard will allow you to sync with outlook, emails, contact etc
Guest is used if you dont want to auto sync with the computers information
You should get the option if not, when its connected double click on activesync ->file and delete partnership see if created a partnership. _________________ Regards

I have activesync 3.8.
I can creat a guest partnership but when I try to get a standard partnership my PC tells me can't creat a partnership because of a system error. |

hmm that is strange, have you tried to uninstall activesync and reinstall?
What operating system is on your PC?
Have you had any older versions of activesync installed?
Have you ever been able to create a standard partnership? _________________ Regards

It just may be your firewall or anti-virus software that is the problem, try un-installing ActiveSync then re-boot your pc, turn off both firewall and anti-virus then try re-installing ActiveSync, then before turning them on again see if you can get the partnership you require.
Don't forget to turn them back on before connect to the net again. |

I am running Windows XP.
Before downloading Activesync from Microsoft site I turned off both firewall and anti virus software.
Download went ok when I connect Medion 200 and try to set up a partnership my PC tells me Can not create a partner because of a "system error"
Any ideas! |

that really is strange if you have turned everything off and still not getting any partnership, can you take it back to where you bought it to test? _________________ Regards
