|
|
I have an .axe file and I want to convert it to ov2 ready for TTN5.
I've downloaded POIConverter, but I can't work out how to use it and what setting I should select?
Can anyone please help?

Have you got the latest version, 3.11 and, if so, have you installed it into the default directory? If not, get it here.
Open the prog and click File > Open. Change the Files of Type setting to AutoRoute and MapPoint maps (*.axe, *.ptm) and navigate to the directory containing your .axe file. Double click on the one you want or cighlight it and click Open. It will tell you how many points there are. Then click File > Save and change the Save as type to Tom Tom Overlay (*.0v2, *.ovr).
Er, that's it. You will then have two files of the same name but different extensions. _________________ Tim |

Hi
Thanks for the reply.
Yes, I'm using v3.11 and have previously used the same method as you show above.
However, on placing it in the correct folder in TTN5, it fails to show up as a POI that I can enable.

Sorry, don't know about TTN. Have you got an icon of the same name in the map folder? _________________ Tim |

No.
I've also tried it under different names. |
