ok, up until recently tomtom3 was running fine on my o2 XDA2 connected to a Holux GR-231.
Now then, I had to do a hard reset when i upgraded the o2's software.
Now the two wont connect.
I remember I had to connect it a certain way using specific settings, but alas, I cant remember what they were, and I cant find them on the web anymore
please help! |

If it's a wired GPS then you need to disable 'Receive all incoming beams' in Start | Settings - Connections.
As for the GPS Settings, try COM1 and NMEA@4800bps . _________________ Darren Griffin |

it's a bluetooth connection, sorry, should have mentioned that.
I remember it had to be bluetooth com 6 with the nmea 38400 or something like that, does that ring any bells? |

The Port Speed is less important, 4800bps should work fine. The BT COM Port on my XDAII is COM5.
Also when you bond the BT GPS you should have been prompted 'do you want to create a BT Serial Port'. You should answr yes at this stage. _________________ Darren Griffin |
