i have just bought an Altini GBT-708 gps reciever to use with ttmobile v4.430.
prob is it dont work, works with route 66.
i have discovered that once the pair is made it drops the connection to the unit (6600). so when i start tt there is no connection obviosly this is my problem with ttm not finding a device.
anyone had any experience of this or know how i can get the unit to make a connection to the phone past the pairing.
www.altina.co.tw
all help very much appreciated.
if i cant get it working there will be a brand new BT GPS for sale ;) so i can get a supported one. |

I don't have a 6600 but AFAIK you do need to use the TomTom BT GPS with TomTom Mobile, you cannot use other BT GPS's with the 6600 but I may stand corrected. |

If you've got TomTom Mobile, you should have the TomTom Bluetooth GPS from your TomTom Mobile pack. TomTom do not sell this product "software only".
If you haven't got the TomTom Mobile pack, Pocket GPS World can't help.

i left it on top of the car and drove off . this was the cheeper replacement option, didnt think for a minute that it would be hardware spesific. also got it for the fact that it has usb so i can run it on my laptop using via mitchellin (fullscreen 3d for pc), although its a bit big to fit on the dash |
