I want to use it to log the distances when I'm running in OziExplorer, but I have no clue as to how to import this in OziExplorer. Does anybody have an idea what the name is of the format above or how I can import it in OziExplorer?

The Lat/Lon information looks dubious, and the hemisphere information is missing (N/S, E/W) . Your example is not an actual dataset from the Trine, is it? _________________ Lutz

It's really not that difficult. You take the file ,import it into Excel (comma separated) and then do the math on the Lat/Lon - you need to separate the degrees off by doing an integer divide by 100, then take the minutes divided by 60 and add them back to the degrees to arrive at decimal degrees.
For example
5257.9356 ( I have edited the number because the one you provided doesn't make sense)
1. Integer divide by 100 = 52 - that's the degrees
2. Divide the minutes - 57.9356 - by 60 = 0.965593
3. Add to the degrees gives the decimal Latitude 52.965593
Now your only problem is the sign. If the hemisphere info is missing from the Trine log then you're doomed. I can't understand why they would not provide North/South or East/West information. Anyway, for West and South you need to make the numbers negative.
Maybe Oldie's log Converter tool can be adjusted to read Trine logs. _________________ Lutz

I suspect that the hemisphere ambiguity is just because both lat/long values are positive in this example (assuming the point is somewhere in The Netherlands, a safe guess in this case I think). Presumably S/W values are preceded by a - sign? _________________ Barry Davies

To answer the other half of your question, Ozi supports a lot of import and export formats.
Perhaps the simplest for this task would be its export track text file format (look in Ozi help under Import and Export - Export - Exporting Tracks to a Text File).
You could then read in your track file using the Load toolbar button - Import - Track from Text File.
There are lots of optional parameters in the file format, but a very basic jog around the Netherlands might look like this:
Datum,WGS 84
TP,DMX,52,07.9356,4,24.6453
TP,DMX,53,07.9356,5,24.6453
TP,DMX,52,07.9356,5,24.6453

Thank you all for your help. I've managed to import a log in Excel and export it to the simple format barryd mentioned. Next I will have to play around with the Trine software, because it's a real pain to use it. The only way to simply download the logfiles is the binary format which I cannot read. For the ASCII logfiles I have to use a command line program and copy the lines by hand to a textfile .
