As i use my new Navman 510 on a daily basis i have noticed errors in street names, (today i went to Forest View tho is listed as Forest Road for example) can anybody suggest who to contact to update correct info. |

You should report this to Teleatlas who supply the map data for navman products now.
Don't hold your breath though, there are loads of errors on the mapping data.
I'd like to know where Teleatlas source their data. Postcodes are PO copyright, Maps are OS copyright, street Gazatteers (names, house numbers etc) are the responsibilty of one of 639 councils in the UK, and together form the NLPG (National Land and Property Gazatteer), which is in its infancy, dare you to perform NLPG search ! |

OS maps are OS copyright, but the OS don't hold copyright on data you survey yourself.
It looks like TeleAtlas may derive some data from Ordnance Survey; the copyright on multimap.com when TeleAtlas data is being displayed is (c)TeleAtlas NV / Crown Copyright. However, I'm not sure exactly what is Crown Copyright.
