|
|
I have just found the POI list on this site and downloaded the POI's relevant.. :D
Now my card says i only have 8mb free and all my poi dwnloads come to 13mb. I know i can delete the voices (i only have UK Tim and Jane - I will get rid of Tim!)
SO i have the one voice, but can i delete the POI's that come with GO to free up more space? like Zoo's etc?
Also can someone explain how i go about getting these into my TomTom with the USB lead? i have them on my Pc desktop as ZIP files at the moment but not sure where they need to go (in the TTG) and which file?! & how to extract them??
Many thanks in advance.
PS - Is there any plans for a Nightclubs POI in the future? |

Hi buckman,
Unfortunately you can’t edit or delete the standard POIs that come with TTGO. The POIs are considered part of the map data, and are therefore protected.
If you unzip the files for each POI, you will find that the POI consists of several files:
*.OV2 This is the POI file of coordinates and descriptions
*.BMP This is the icon that shows on the map
*.TXT This is an information file
Copy the *.OV2 and the *.BMP files into the map folder of the TTGO
I’m not aware of any plans for a Nightclub POI, however you can write your own or use the POI Download website.
