|
|
I have downloaded via POI Sync 140 files and stored them on my SD card, the majority being CodeSearch, which I assume is a postcode database, along with the speed cameras.
However when I start Navigator I get the error message “Too many files – loading aborted”
All help greatly appreciated and any suggestions as to how to activate sound for the speed cameras and other selected POI’s (should I manage to get them to load!!)
Happy New Year to All

You need to delete some POI files - there's a limit of, I think, 128 categories.
For camera warnings using TomTom Navigator 3, try CheckPOInt. If you wish to use the Pocket GPS World camera database, I suggest using version 2.0.2 from our Downloads area.

Many thanks for the speedy reply.
Do I use Checkpoint instead of POI Sync? and does Checkpoint enable me to have sound audible warning of Speed Cameras etc?

CheckPOInt allows you to have audible alerts on POI files already installed.
If you want to keep POI files on Pocket GPS World up to date on your device, the easiest way to do that is POI Sync using POIEdit.
