|
|
I have been trying to log the locations of several gatso cameras and have been using the method as outlined here using the “Quickmenu map corrections” as there are several on the same stretch of road that don't yet appear on the PGPSW database.
Everything’s OK except that I cannot get the co-ordinates to display. I have followed the instructions in “Submitting your results” but the lat and long still aren’t displayed.
I am using a TT 940. Are there any different instructions when using this particular model? |

In Browse Map, tap Options.
Tick Coordinates, followed by Done, and the Lat/Long will appear on the Browse Map. _________________ Richard

Co-ordinates is already ticked and yes, the lat/long is displayed but not when I go in to "Map Corrections" and "You have marked 4 locations. Would you like to review and change them now?" That's where I need it to show them so that I can notify the new camera locations. |

Are you following the steps as laid out?
Quote: | Method 3b - Quickmenu Map Corrections
If your TomTom supports the "Quickmenu" feature and you use MapShare you can set it to JUST 'make a map correction' in the Quickmenu preferences.
Now, with a single tap for each, this saves a whole list of un-named positions which you can review later.
To do this (when not driving) you go to Map Corrections. The TT will immediately say "You have marked x corrections. Would you like to review and change them now?"
Tap 'yes' and 'Handle now" then any of the selections to get to see the first one on the map (it seems to remember them in the order you entered them).
You can then browse through them one by one and note down the Lat/Long Positions for submission.
Just remember to tap "Back" and then "Delete" to go to the next one and never tap "Done" as that would add it as a Mapshare correction for TomTom! |
I can't check it myself as the 910 doesn't have a QuickMenu Option. _________________ Richard

Got it. The options after "Handle now" - (Un)block Street, Reverse traffic direction, Edit Street name etc weren't the choices I was looking for and I didn't realise that I could click on any of them and the co-ordinates were there.
Many thanks, job done! |
