|
|
Hi, I bought a Tom Tom one a couple of years ago from Makro, there were newer models at the time but I was green, in a hurry and didn't know. I went for it because it had UK & Europe. I have now got a job in Canada and when I tried to download North American maps, my memory wasn't large enough. Do any of you techno wizards know how to, or if it's possible to, open up a Tom Tom One and replace the memory card. I really don't want to splash out for a new world wide system as I've barely used the one I have and they don't come cheap. Any advice would be very welcome.
Cheers, Norm |

There are many variants of the TT One.
If you go to http://uk.support.tomtom.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/9508/ you can input the first 2 numbers of the Serial Number. This will return the actual Device Type/Model that you have.
Any advice given can then be for your specific unit. _________________ Richard

Although it will be usefu to findout your exact ONE model, if it soesn't have an external SD card slot, you can pretty much forget about expanding the internal memory. It doesn't have a "card" inside but has individual (non-removable) memory chips soldered to the motherboard. _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |
