I am new to the forum so not sure if I am the correct place. Having just bought a new Garmin I thought about getting the speed alerts installed. Does the warning give a voice alert or just a sound when near the camera.

I haven't got a Garmin, so I'm no expert, but This page has a button to click for Garmin voice warnings for the PocketGPSWorld camera database. _________________ Dennis

Most if not all Garmin models can do voice warnings.
Which files you need to install depends on whether your model has an mp3 (music) player.
If it has, use one of the sets of mp3 audio files for the warnings.
If not, you need one of the .wav files sets and also a prog called "sox.exe"
Instructions are on the download page that Dennis mentioned above.. |
