G'day Snowyjp
Sorry mate, can't help because my experetise (but not much) is on Igo based Nav. I'm sure that a Garmin expert will be along in a while though. |

i've split this from the igo thread and moved it to the garmin forum where you'll likely get better answers!

Garmin added .WAV support to POILoader (Version V2.5.1 or later). Make sure your WAV files are of the plain, uncompressed variety.
Garmin 'forgot' to ship SOX.EXE (which POILoader uses to convert incoming WAV files to 44KHz, Mono) - so you need to get hold of a copy of that and put it in the same directory as POILoader.
SOX has its own webpage on Sourceforge.net - but the latest versions don't seem to work with POILoader. The version that Garmin shipped when they were testing this function can be found here. |

I'm using POI loader 253 with Sox. Works fine loading wav files to the 255. |

I'm using POI loader 254 with Sox. Works fine loading wav files to the 255WT.
