Hi all,
Wondering about this for my TT1 v4 (2008)http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0019JDDB4/ref=s9_subs_c8_s1_p23_i1?pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_s=center-1&pf_rd_r=0XR51YHVR57SQGK4T2PW&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=463374953&pf_rd_i=468294
Cant find much discussion on whether it is any good or not, just the previous rds with the oval blob was not very good at all. Whats everyones feeling on this one?
I live in Kent if that helps and travel up to the midlands regularly.
Cheers

There has been a fair amount of discussion on here about the different versions of the RDS/TMC receiver.
General opinion seems to be that the USB version is at least as good, and probably better than any of the older versions. |

Indeed the newer receiver with the mini USB connector (rather than the round multipole connector) is slightly better in terms of reception in the UK, its not perfect but is the best offered to date - Mike |

The TA button will give you information but the RDS-TMC receiver will allow you to route around long delays. meaning you can pull off the motorway before a hold up and let the TT do the route planning. |
