Have I misunderstood? TruMap states it uses a black and white map? Is that for all navigation, I hope not? That would be very hard on the eyes?

Darren, that's what I had read. Something along the lines of trying to give the look of a paper map, using black and white for contrast.. _________________ Garmin 1695 / 255 / 760 w/MSN - Droid w/Google nav + Navigon - Navigon 8100T - Dakota10 - GPSMap76C - GeoMate Jr. |

Too much contrast is not a good thing though, very hard on the eyes and would be a retrograde step IMHO. How many maps do you see nowadays that are black and white? _________________ Darren Griffin |

Darren I agree. Can't imagine who was doing their consumer preferences research. Particularly at night I can see this being a major gripe. _________________ Garmin 1695 / 255 / 760 w/MSN - Droid w/Google nav + Navigon - Navigon 8100T - Dakota10 - GPSMap76C - GeoMate Jr. |
