|
|
Hi all
I downloaded the poi's from the free poi link further down this page. On opening the zip file I found a lot of food and fuel poi's that I don't need or want. Can I edit or delete part of the data base to remove the ones I don't want and the data base still be useable, or will it corrupt it?
I am not unfarmiliar with editing files etc, but I was concerned about copyright, licences and codes etc.
Excellent site and the best cam data base I have found......Period
Thanks |

Where did you download them from? If from us, then why not just download the ones you do want? _________________ Darren Griffin |

I downloaded them from the link at the bottom right corner of this page, just underneath where it says "click here for speed cameras".
I downloaded the food ones, but it is one data base with all the food places in it. I just want to put the food stops I can get to on a motorbike, ie Mcdonalds, Little chef etc. I do not need to put the resturant ones, as an example, in as I will not be frequenting them on my motorcycle. |

Nuts.... Thanks, I see what you mean. I was being too eager, I have now seen the light, or the bits I want, as is the case......
Thanks for your help. |

If you Mouse Click the "+" beside the Food and Drink heading it will expand to show all the subcategories that are available.
Just select those you want, and use the Combine Option, at the bottom, to download them into one POI File. _________________ Richard

If you stiil then need to edit them, you can use Poiedit and add or delete as required. _________________ Moto G5s Plus, Sygic 17.4.8 |
