Well the later set will be the one with the higher number, click on the VER file and see whats what. delete the lower numbers and you should be ok. Bear in mind there should be four files in the zip folder 2 for uk and 2 for nl. Each set has a VER file and a POSTAL file. The latest Uk one if i am correct is 801 |

As far as I know you only have 2 files for the UK if you are using the
v815 map - United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland
Great_Britain.postal
Great_BritainPostal.ver |

Yes, well if you have the UK and the Netherlands in the zip file, which is how they would come from TomTom then you will have four files. If you only want the UK ones from oldboys site then you will only want two files. On my 8.15 maps i have the four files in my zip. Although i did add the later 801 files for the Uk which Andy put up a while back.
I hope that clarifies things. |

Dunno what you've downloaded, but the only postcodes download on Oldboy's site is v801 GB and that only has TWO files in the zip archive:
Great_Britain.postal - the data, and
Great_BritainPostal.ver - the text file showing the version.
Both of those files should be copied into the "zip" folder on the Go, replacing the GB ones already there (leaving the two Netherlands ones alone) |

On my ONE v4 there was only the 2 files in the zip folder when purchased new in November, 08
Great_Britain.postal
Great_BritainPostal.ver
I backed up (done via Explorer) the unit before I had even installed TT HOME and looking at the backup those are the only files in the zip folder. |

Did it have UK maps (only needs 2 files in the zip folder) or Europe maps (should have 4 files in the zip folder)? _________________ Paul |

It's just the UK version. |
