I have just received my Tom Tom One XL and the satellite status bar was showing horizontally, it has suddenly changed to vertical. I have reloaded the entire system but it is still vertical. Whilst this is not a major problem I would like to know why it did it. Any ideas?
Cheers

I've no idea why it did it, unless you accidentally changed the setting whilst setting the device up, but it's easy to get back.
Change preferences, Status bar preferences, and put the dot in the
'horizontal' hole. _________________ Tim |

Go to Change Preferences/ Status bar preferences and one of the screens you go through allows you to choose Horizontal or vertical, strange if it changed this on its own though - Mike |

The bar will change by itself if you load up your preferences like show speed, show time to detination, leeway etc if you enable all of these it goes to vertical if you knock some off it goes to horizontal.
I have noticed that this happens irregardless of what setting you choose. |

Thats Good Brian Glad you got it sorted. I just remember having the same issue when i loaded up all the options and after going out on a limb i was glad it was the case with your unit.
Enjoy your new unit. They are good as you have no doubt found out. |
