It would appear that the Channel Islands are not fully mapped yet. On my TomTom OneXL (Eur map v710), there's no roads at all. On the TT730 (Eur map v800), Jersey is mapped but none of the others.
Without knowing what device or map version you have, I can't say much else. As your device is fairly old, I'm not sure what the latest available map would be and what would be shown on it. _________________ Gerry

The software I have on my tomtom go700 is v5.440 do you think the current new version 7-20 would include Jersey.
Thanks |

Updating your software to the latest release which is free) will enable you to purchase and download/ install the latest vs720 map which does have coverage of the island you want, just make sure you pay attention to the one way signs as the map is often wrong (MapShare might assist in getting updates from other users who have been trying to sort this issue out) - Mike |

The version number you say you have is a software version, not a map version... the software itself will make no difference. (except that you will definitely have to update your software v7 in order to use any new maps you may buy).
Gerry says the v800 map for the Gox30 models doesn't have Guernsey mapped, it's possible the v805 (or its equivalent the v720 for older models) may improve on that but these things often improve gradually, so what might LOOK like fully mapping to someone who doesn't know the road layout, may not be good enough for a resident.
Version 720 and version 805 maps are both the same date of mapping data.
You can either hope someone with one or other of those two map versions can check a specific area for you or why not just give TT a call and ask them?

v7.15 Has Jersey
v7.20 Has Jersey and Guernsey
3 digit postcodes for Jersey, nothing for Guernsey. _________________ Samsung Mega

The road coverage is excellent but there are NO one-way or prohibited streets identified and, if you have NC7 it will think we drive on the right. this was cured with version 8.
So it will be great for getting you to your destination but watch for road signs and be prepared to ignore the instructions and let the device recalculate. _________________ TT Go Essential |
