good question as when i look in TT mapshop the only one offered me is v7.20 ! |

If you read some of the other topics on the same subject, you'll see that you have to "fool" the TomTom website by saying you have an x30 model instead. The system then allows you to buy the v8 map and WILL allow you to download it and register and install it to your x20 device.
It's at your own risk because if it goes wrong, TomTom will not give you any support, but several people seem to have done it successfully.
I'm too scared to... I'll wait until the "official" version gets released. |

Well i'm glad i'm not too far removed from the technology,and my ability to read the forum and the TT website seem OK ....
....as i thought no official way to use ALG or IQ Routes on my XL currently.
