Just take care not to get pulled over by the Police when doing this sort of thing, they can (and have) been known to stop the odd car while shooting a video - and before you ask - it wasn't me that got stopped - Mike |

That's alright, my camera is totally hands off, but I'll be careful all the same. Thanks. _________________ Dom

mostdom, i would think that it is more that they think you are filming yourself going 186mph on the short 30mph stretch of road just ahead rather than worrying about where your hands are (or aren't)

I've been trying to sign up to Facebook to see this, but when I submit the registration form I get "Could not open socket".
A Google search hasn't really helped. Please can anyone here help? _________________ Anita

I may be wrong, but I think PaulB2005 meant THIS site (PGPSW) was slow, not Facebook
I've suggested to Darren that it might be worth having a central place (sticky or whatever) for reporting performance issues with PGPSW because they seem to be cropping up in all kinds of places.
Darren said that he will look into this shortly _________________ Andy

Tried to register with Facebook again VERY late last night with no success, but from what I read from a Google search it looked as if it might be a security issue. I briefly changed the security settings in IE, and maybe it was a coincidence, but it worked.
Wonder if it was worth all the effort!! Hurry up with that video, mostdom, then perhaps a few more people will join the group. _________________ Anita

Just to confirm, the Facebook PGPSW group is not run by Privateer or myself. It was actually set up by another member of the forum and we were the first people invited to it as we know this forum member offline.
If anyone has any problems, comments or issues with the group, please do not contact Privateer or myself via Facebook or this forum - it would be best to contact the group administrator via Facebook.
Regards,
Laura. _________________ TomTom 730

Sorry, Bo Peep, if you felt my comments were a criticism.
It's just that this is such a vibrant community I thought that, as there was a Facebook group, it would be nice if more members from here joined and contributed. _________________ Anita

My post was not directed at you, it was a general post to clear things up as it seemed to be thought that we were in any way affiliated with the group, that's all.
I meant to post last night but ran out of time and was in too much of a hurry to quote the original post by Rob.
Sorry for any confusion!
Regards,
Laura. _________________ TomTom 730

Good. That's OK then, although it means it definitely wasn't worth the effort! I assumed from Rob's post that it was at least a semi-official group. _________________ Anita

It'll be done when it's done. I've got a small box office smash in the pipeline that'll have to be sidelined so I can accommodate this miniscule sketch.

At least you're showing you have the right priorities by sidelining other stuff in favour of PGPSW stuff _________________ Andy
