My first Fortuna had a dead BT system but Global Positioning Systems sent a replacement by return (guaranteed next day too ) and that works....
However, one thing that worried me is a poor battery connection - at first if I put very slight pressure on the battery case the unit turned off.
I have messed around a little and I heard a click; it seems more robust now (gentle movement no longer results in power loss).
Question: Is it normal for the connection to be a little fussy or do I have another faulty unit? |

It shouldn't be fussy or problematic, it should connect first time all the time unless you are low on memory on the Pocket PC in which case it could be an issue. |

I think hes referring to the battery connetion not the BT connection
I had to move the contacts slightly on mine to get a decent connection (got it last week). It all works fine now, and ive not had any problems. I used the supplied point bit on the screwdriver to move them out slightly. |

Thanks Razor.
I did a similar thing with the contacts and since I heard the 'click' it's been fine.
Though I think Dave cursed me because now I've got the 2210/clip-on/BT drop-out issue |
