I use a Nokia N95 with a TT 520. I can reliably get Traffic updates but as others have found out - it won't work as a handsfree car phone system. I remember reading some people had success with the early v11 Nokia software but the v12 update broke all that . Nokia have now released v20 software for the phone - unfortunately I can't download this as it stands as having a branded phone , my operator (O2) have to approve the software before the Nokia site will allow the download .
But I am in possession of some hack software that will alter the phones product code to a generic unbranded Euro version - this will allow the v20 software to download - and incidentally allow me to test the Nokia maps 2.0 beta - but voiding the warranty .
Before I start hacking the phone - is anyone running a v20 N95 successfully with TT520/720/920
thanks

I was allowed to upgrade my Vodafone branded N95 to V20 only last week. It might be worth waiting before voiding that warranty. I have had it working handsfree with a Tomtom whereas with the previous version (11.x IIRC) then it didn't. _________________ Tim
Thanks for the opportune advice ! I went back to the Nokia site after reading your message and lo and behold V20 now downloads ! Better still the 520 seemed to pair perfectly for data and voice.
thanks

Spoke too soon - The TomTom / Nokia N95 combo has reverted to its original behaviour. The pairing works perfectly the first time for voice & data . However after a Tom Tom power down and up - the phone is not recognised . You can re- pair but now only data works and the phone cannot be used for voice calls .
I shall have to wait for a fix from Tom Tom after all .
