Cool, glad it's working.
And no way are you being dense... TT's way of doing things is weird enough BEFORE you start messing with it. All of these features have been put in by them but left undocumented, so we have all had to learn as we go along. |

Good news about the cat but can you explain why my 'sounds' folder is empty?
I've got all the warning sounds on my One XL and can select one to warn for POI or speed camera but where are they stored and should they be in the 'sounds' folder? |

All the normal built in bells and cow noises are "hard coded" into the system software. They don't appear as individual files ANYWHERE.
In v7 software, they added this "sounds" folder when they added the "record your own voice" feature on the x20 models. The files created by that were stored in the "sounds" folder and appeared on the sound effects page.
I just put two and two together and had a little play, and discovered any .wav or .ogg file (or folder full of files) will also show up on the sound effects page and will therefore be selectable for any feature that uses them. () |
