When I go to update my device, the first one it finds is for the Map of Western and Central Europe version 675 for Go700 and 910 only. Is there any way to disable this? I thought the 920 came with the newer 710 version |

Hi brodiefw, this has been mentioned before and is just a trait with the wonderful Home software.
This wont help in your case but i found it was doing it with my 910 for while. Everytime i hooked up it would want to repeatededly download the 710 maps that i had already put on it.
I downloaded them again just to see what would happen and now they don't appear. Crazy i know, you shouldn't have to go through this scenario.
I also noticed that if you ever reinstall home, reformat your PC drive etc, then this will happen again. |

Did you have a 700 or 910 that you'd bought an upgrade map for before?
If so, GO-GO's answer explains perfectly why you are seeing your old map being offered for download again. You bought it, you must want it!
The reason you are not seeing any new maps is that there aren't any newer maps than what you have already. |

Wait a year and it will go away!
My old UK map for a Go300, chased me like this until Christmas, but has finally given up. |
