|
|
I have just bought a Garmin 660 and I wish to install some more POIs. I have downloaded some from this site and unzipped the file before installing on a SD card for safety. But when i use the Garmin POI loader it says it cannot find a.csv or .gpx file.
Any advise on this please would be most welcome. Are thse site files not suitable for the 660? |

Make sure when you are selecting the POI files to download that you select the "Sat Nav System" to "Other csv", the drop down box is by default set to ov2 which is TomTom.
Change this setting on the download page to "Other csv" then the downloaded file simply needs unzipping to a folder on the PC, then point POILoader at the folder containing the POI files for it to work - Mike |

I did ensure that 'Other csv' was used. I unzipped the download which produced a folder called POIs and a file inside with no designator (Not sure if thats the correct term).
Thanks |

Try again using the "Show Link" checkbox next to the download button - this often cures such problems - Mike |
