|

I have recently purchased a Garmin Nuvi 360 which comes with a Speed Camera Database already loaded. I understand that if I download PocketGPS data, it will need to go in one folder along with other Custom POI ( I found by trial and error that as you load a POI folder it substitutes any already loaded).
I previously had a Tom Tom which I find worked slightly differently in that symbols were on the map whereas with Garmin the Camera Warnings come in Red at the top of the screen; will the PocketGPS database operate in the same way as the Garmin (already installed) warnings, presumably the Garmin ones will be deleted?
I hope this makes sense
Thanks

It's best to use one or the other - there is a menu item to turn off the Garmin db alerts (if you need our help, we can point you in the direction of where to find that).
Although the PGPSW DB will appear in red at the top, the icons will also display on the map for you (just leave POI Loader in Express Mode, although set it to Feet and MPH) and it'll do it all for you (on a Nuvi). _________________ Please don't be offended if I do not reply to a PM - please ask questions via the forums. |

Thanks for your help. Can I switch off Garmin Alerts and still leave PGPS Alerts running in sound. If so how please?
Thanks
