I am going on holiday to Ireland next week and started to put the address into the Garmin as to where I would be going. It recognises the streets in Ireland, go to View Map and it doesn't find it.
Am I doing something wrong?
A quick response would be appreciated |

Depends on the size of the place your looking for. As I can tell you some of the places here are VERY small! What is the name of the place you want to get to? |

One of the places is: -
John Redmond Street, Cork City.
It finds the road on the search but when you press 'show on map' it can't find it?

Not sure what the problem is. I could find and route to John Redmond Street in Cork on Mapsource and on my Nuvi 300 with v9 mapping. |

On my 60CSX it finds it if the detailed mapping is loaded and it is v9, but cannot find it if the basemap only is used!
Check your options in case the maptiles are not activated and that you have CityNavigator Europe v9, no other version will have it! |

Spoke to the Garmin Helpline, done the checks and they now say my system is faulty and having to send it back. Looks like its the old road atlas.....going to have to purchase one in Ireland now!!
Thanks for the responses though.
