You need to use the ogg files as the data.chk method is not supported for that version of software, what have you done so far?
If the ogg files are in the map folder with the coresponding POI files AND you re-select EACH camera POI in the Change preferences/ Manage POI/ Warn when near POI it should work - have a read of the FAQ page #5 Here skip the first bit about data.chk and you should get it all working, if not how far do you get before it fails on you - Mike |

ALL the POI files and the ogg files need to be in the map folder DO NOT put them in a seperate folder as this doesn't work.
Once the files are installed (which it sounds like you have done to be honest)
## Go to Change Preferences/ Manage POI/ Warn When near POI and from the list select the first Pocketgpsworld speed camera, answer NO if it asks you to remove the warning.
Allocate a distance for your warning
Select the Warn only if POI On route check box as per you preferences.
Repeat the above from the ## sign for EACH speed camera file you have installed - Mike |

If so there is your problem. It should have the same name as the OV2 File, but with an .ogg extension. _________________ Richard

Which ogg sounds are you trying to use with the device? - it could be they are incorrectly named? - let me know which voice you are using and I assume from your previous post you are using the speed zoned database file set?
As another thought if its a PMobile camera that you are selecting there are no ogg files for these in most voice alert sets, so the device will still ask for a sound as the coresponding ogg file is not present - all the other cameras will work though - what is the name of the camera that you are seeing it request a sound for? - Mike |

hi can i use theses ones
We have changed the voices assigned to the current warning sounds to the following phrases (click on the phrase to listen to the sound sample - you need an OGG player for that):
Beep 1 Gatso
Beep 2 Gatso 30
Beep 3 Gatso 40
Beep 4 Gatso 50
Beep 5 Gatso 60
Bell 1 Mobile
Bell 2 Mobile 30
Bell 3 Mobile 40
Boing Mobile 50
Bugle Mobile 60
Cow Mobile 70
Cuckoo Red Light
Polite 1 Specs
Polite 2 Temporary
Polite 3 Credits |

You need the ogg Files from http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/tomtom-ogg-files.php
The Files won't need renaming, just copying to the Map Folder.
When you use Warn When Near, you won't be asked for the Warning Selection if the ogg File has the correct name.
As Mike said they are all ready for the Speed Zoned Cameras. If you want to use the pMobile Files you will need a standard sound effect. _________________ Richard

No you wont...
I did one set ("Crystal") for the pMobiles. It's at the bottom of the page.
If you want one of the other voices for them you can just make copies of the ordinary mobile ones and re-name to add the "P"
For the main voice sets, you can listen to the different voices just by clicking on them, pick the one you want, and they've all been re-named for you.
(and it was hard work too... )
EDIT: As it looks like the pMobiles are here to stay, maybe I'll have to start thinking about adding them to the downloads for as many of the other sets as possible. |

I would delete all the old ogg files and start again from scratch.
If you have the Speed Zoned Cameras, which you appear to have, you will need one of the Speed Zoned Voices.
There is a Sample File with each download, and you can hear this before you decide which download you want. _________________ Richard
