I've just come across this make of SatNav and what attracts me is that some 37 european countries are loaded on the device including the ex-federation of jugoslavia members which is my working terrority. Aparently, the software is Navteq but I cannot find much else about the actual units, which are not particularly cheap.
Anyone got any personal experience of this make Are the maps street level And how up-to-date _________________ Gee-Pee

from what i understand they will only direct you to destination there is no map screen in most units only a next turn icon _________________ currently using aponia truck navigation on windows phone. Good bye IOS don't let the door hit you on the way out .

i see what you mean i was thinking of the DIN units that they do
maps should be as good as any other as they will use either navteq or teleatlas i think its navteq they use im not sure how well it would support coustom poi though _________________ currently using aponia truck navigation on windows phone. Good bye IOS don't let the door hit you on the way out .

I'm not particularly interested in getting a new SatNav but I am disappointed that I cannot use my device in Slovenia, Croatia or Macedonia. I do currently have a TMC module on the N20 and the Becker does not seem to have one. Oh well, just have to wait until the maps are available. Trouble is, they are building new roads out there so fast that by the time the maps do materialise, they will be well out of date. _________________ Gee-Pee
