Hi all,
I'm having problems with the data.chk file on my TomTom 510. I've got it copied over no problems, but can't set the TomTom to play the respective files for each limit. It's not the same as doing it the 'manage POI' way on the TomTom 300 because the POI's come straight from TomTom - do I need to download your custom POI's for the speed cameras, or is there a way to do it with the TomTom ones?
Cheers

Hi Gregorio,
to the forum!
If you’re using the TomTom camera database, I don’t think that you can change the alert sound nor do I think that you can even change the distance.
Best thing to do is to drop the TomTom camera database and replace it with the much better PocketGPSWorld camera database. You can then use the custom .ogg files.

TT camera database is cr4p! You cannot change distances, warnings etc.
Delete them & use the ones from here. |

would they be in the map folder where i'm looking or elsewhere?
thanks. |

Cheers all. Got it sorted now, ended up just using the PGPSW ones instead of the built-in TomTom ones. |
