Please do not ask for instructions on how to acomplish this, as Lutz mentioned earlier in the thread detailed information is not to be posted, as getting it working involves the theft of files from another device - not a practice we can condone or offer support to - mike |

Hey everyone... The possibility here is intriguing. I would love to test it out! I have both a 910 in one car and a ONE in our other car. If anyone could pass along the details (I suppose via PM), on how I might go about doing this, that would be great! I would be happy to contribute my additional findings with the newest firmware and what not if I can! Thanks a lot and happy holidays! |

Whilst you the 910 and another product it is still outside the license agreement to mess swapping files around between the two units. Also you should be aware that this no longer works on any unit other than the 910, the later software releases prevent the TTS from working on other hardware, save yourself some time and don't bother - Mike |

I'm not entirely sure why it would be outside the license agreement, being that I own both units and the available data therein. I will take your word for it though, I'm not asking this information to be publically posted and I'm not suggesting (by any means) that I will make public my files. But some guidance so that I could play with the devices would be nice. I see not harm to the company or any of their consumers coming from this conversation.
My ONE has the original software on it, it has not been updated yet... and I have a backup of the original 910 files. If the capability is there (in some capacity) I would like to explore it. If anyone can help, I would really appreciate it!
The time spent doing this is enjoyable, so its not a waste. If it is entirely impossible (which it doesn't seem to be) then I will abandon it... Thanks all! |

Your other device was not supplied with this license therefore use of the TTS on anything other than that purchased is out of scope - Mike |
