|
|
I have been given the task of changing a Tomtom Go 300 for a Spanish student living in England from the Spanish map to a Great Britain Map which he has purchased. On going to the TTCode site I am able to get an activation number but when I enter it it says it is the wrong number (Ithink anyway as it is in Spanish) and asks for the number to be reinserted.
Any ideas would be appreciated |

Inputting product code of the original Go- three five digit codes together with the two five digit codes given on the screen with the new map - this gives me an activation code from ttcode.com |

Apparently he bought the map from E Bay and only got an original SD card without any product number - does this mean he has wasted his money?or is there a solution somewhere ?? |

If it IS an original SD card it should NOT need activating. |

Sounds like he has bought an illegal copy (or the seller copied his card to a new one so he could keep and use the old registration number). Suggest try to get his money back. If you can't then the answers to your two questions are yes and no in that order. _________________ Peter
