|
|
This may be a daft question, but I've just bought an IPAQ 2210 with Bluetooth TomTom Navigator 2 - and have found that my Ipaq isn't listed on the back of the TomTom software dvd case.
It mentions loads of other models IPAQ's 36xx 37xx 38xx 54xx, Jornada 500, Cassiopia, XDA, Axim X5, Siemens LOOX eamongst others.
Have I been sent the wrong software pack (by totalpda.co.uk) - or is the 2210 equivalent to the IPAQs listed?.
I can't seem to find anything definitive on the TomTom site, and my head tellls me that a pocket PC has the same OS / drivers etc whichever manufacturer makes it. My heart tells me that they're probaly all slightly different, and therefore there are specific software versions for each one.
Can anyone help without me opening the software and trying it - I suspect totalpda.co.uk won't accept it back if its opened???? |

You'll be just fine, TTN2 works on the 2210's, alot of people here are using them, including me. The BT GPS will also work |

Unless I'm misremembering their product range, the only Pocket PC model specific items from TomTom are the cables for the wired GPS products, and the Car Kits.
The software is common to all Pocket PCs - you simply need to ensure that you have a way of connecting a GPS before buying, as it's pretty useless otherwise!
