At least it seems as if there will be an update and that Navman haven't written the 520 off as being obsolete. _________________ Navman ICN 520

FREE and NAVMAN don't relate. To be fair, you cannot really expect updates to software to be free - if it were a 'fix' to a fault, then perhaps there might be an argument for it to be free.
Bottom, line No. _________________ Gee-Pee

Have a look here which will give you an idea of the last software upgrade for the iCN520 - cost of the operating system upgrade was £25 on its own but coupled with the mapping was £99 - it's now been reduced to £69. _________________ Gee-Pee

ok thanks.
I am loving my 520 but the only downside is the postcode search. Its ok if you know the street name but what if you only know the postcode?
Have heard a solution to this is in SmartST2006. any idea when this will be released? and will it work on the 520? |

Currently SmartST2006 is only on the new iCN530 and 7xx series. There has been no announcement that it will be made available for older products. _________________ Tim |
