Hey guys,
Im looking for advise on what sort of unit i should be looking at for our trip to europe.
We are going on a road trip from scotland to munich (Oktoberfest :D ) via calais then on to prague.
I have been looking at the Garmin I3 as it seems pretty good for a cheaper unit and can be updated to show speed camera's etc.
I have been told that prague falls under western europe and i would need more software to be able to use it there. Could anyone clarify whether this is true?
Basically we will only need the unit for about 2 weeks then will prob sell it after we come back so we will need one that also keeps its value as we dont want to lose too much on it.
Does anyone have any recomendations? we could prob go to about £200 if it was a really good system that we could sell on quite easily after the trip.
Thanks |

GPS systems can also be "Hired" for short term use.
My friends boss does such a thing.
Sorry no other info available other than that. _________________ (If it ain't broke, I can soon fix it) |

cheers.
have looked into hiring them but looks like it will be about £60 for just over a week and it kinda seems like lost money really. does anyone know of any deals at the moment on systems that cover the UK, france, germany and the czech republic?

My guess is that you will loose at least that when you come to sell your second hand unit. Check out the prices for used units on ebay compared with what they cost new. _________________ Peter
