Hi all,
I have set up my home location no problem.
Now, I obviously know my local roads very well so is it possible to set up TT so that it doesn't start navigating until you're more than a certain distance from home ??
Also, I assume if you want to TT to start at some place other than home (say where you currently are) then that has to be done via Advanced Planning ??
TIA for any help.
Regards,

We've been bringing that up every now an then, but it is not painful enough for most users to implement such a "quiet" zone.
You can do two things - switch the device off until you reach unfamiliar territory, or tune the sound down.
And yes, for A to B routing you need the advanced planning and/or itinerary modes. _________________ Lutz

Thanks.
I thought turning the sound down would be the answer. |

I kind of know what you mean. I always get a laugh when driving home and it tells me that I am arriving at my destination - Yeah, thanks, I do know which house is my one!
We need a setting "Only give me directions when I don't know where I am going, otherwise shut up" or maybe a button which says "Shut up, I know where I am".
Until they implement that option, I'm afraid you need to press the mute button or turn the volume down. _________________ Gone fishing! |
